In 2016, with nothing but a dream and a vision, SckyHigh Films was founded. Our first project, Wait for Love, marked the beginning but together with producer Tabitha Hoof, we had faced immediate challenge. We had a completed film, but no platform to release it. A year later, that changed when Maverick Entertainment reached out, expressing interest in distributing our film. That moment affirmed that Tabitha and I were on the right path.

 

Filmmaking is not just something we do it’s who are. We live it, breathe it, and pour our hearts into every project. From our humble beginnings with Wait for Love, Bootleg Church, and Irreversible Desire, to elevated productions like Grimy Situation, Droppin Bodies, and now Fatal Promises, every step has been rooted in growth, resilience, and faith, it’s alignment with our purpose. 

 

What makes our journey unique is that we didn’t wait for permission. We didn’t wait for big budgets or major studios to validate us. We built with what we had. We learned. We grew. And we kept going.
